We are in Skagway today. Among other things it was the trail head for the Klondike Goldrush trail that the miners used to take them over the mountains into the Yukon Territory in Canada.
The four of us took a tour today with it's first stop being downtown Skagway...
at the old Red Onion Salon. Bit of a hoot.
Then it was on to buses for a beautiful drive into the mountains...
to the Yukon Suspension Bridge. To get there we had to cross into Canada. There was a border check but it was rather minimal. The suspension bridge was pretty interesting.
The route followed the Tutshi River...
and along the route we saw a bear.
Our cruise ship.
